Who Am I?
Stephane has over 6 years experience teaching in Mississauga, Oakville, Milton, and virtually. He teaches piano to beginner, intermediate, and early advanced students. In 2020, he opened his piano studio, More Than Notes. He sees music as a powerful tool to develop the musician and the whole person.
In 2021, Stephane graduated from the University of Toronto Faculty of Music with an Honours Bachelor of Music in Classical Piano. His educational experiences have provided him with the knowledge and skills to teach students with an eye to their holistic growth and individual circumstances. He has also obtained his Associate of the Royal Conservatory of Toronto (ARCT) Diploma, the highest accolade of the Royal Conservatory of Music Certificate Program, with First Class Honours.
Stephane's performance experience is wide-ranging. He has performed in studio masterclasses with renowned piano instructor Brian McDonagh. During the peak months of the COVID-19 pandemic, he provided musical relief to frontline health care workers at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) through recorded virtual performances.
Stephane is a recent graduate of the Juris Doctor (JD) program at Osgoode Hall Law School of York University. He seeks to use the law to create a more just and equal society. In doing so, he hopes to empower today’s youth to pursue social justice through the study of music and law.
